Come join us for a 2 day A-Meet in the Kendall area of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, just south of Cleveland, Ohio.  We will be using new maps (mapped by Yefim Shtempler over the past year), covering areas that have not been available until now.  All maps will be at 1:10,000 scale, with contour intervals of 5 m.  Maps will be printed on Teslin so that no map case is needed.  The terrain consists of plateaus, reentrants, a few cliffs, open land, lakes, a good trail system, and has varying vegetation intensity.

Picture of cliffs.

The land being used is owned by Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the Boy Scouts of America.  In addition, CVNP and the Great Trails Council of the BSA are partners for this event.

Commemorative T-shirts will be available for reasonable $$$   And not your grandfather's old cotton tee, either --high tech wicking fabric.  Something cool!!!  Trust us!!!

Saturday gourmet dinner (additional charge, see registration form) will be provided by Akron's finest caterer:

  • Antipasto Salad w/Red Wine Vinaigrette
  • Choice of Marinara Sauce or Three Meat Sauce
  • Choice of two types of pasta
  • Homemade Garlic Bread
  • Ice Cream Social (award winning local ice cream)
